biography

João Laranja Queirós was born in Vila do Conde in 1971. Graduate in Architecture by the Architecture Faculty of the Oporto Lusíada University in 1994. Participates on Eighth Session of the Scuola Estiva di Progettazione Internationazionale promoted by Facoltá di Architettura del Politecnico di Milano in 1992 lectured by Moises Gallego, Jose Manuel Pedreirinho and Gonçalo Byrne. Defende PhD at the University of Valladolid in Architecture with the title of the thesis "Port Urbis form - Cartographic redesign Port" with the guidance of Professor Eduardo Carazo Lefort in 2016. Is Professor in the Faculty of Architecture and Arts at the Lusíada University of Porto since 1999. In 1996 founded his own office and since that time has developed work in the area of housing, services hospitals, interior design and objects.
